The kids and I went to a home-school carnival. My friend, Elizabeth, home schools her 2 daughters, Bayley (5th grade) and Alexa (3rd grade). They live in Deer Park which is about 15 miles north of Spokane. Deer Park has a wonderful home schooling program and to celebrate the end of the year, the students were able to participate in the carnival. There were blow up jumpy toys and a gigantic slide. They had hamburgers, cotton candy, popcorn and sno cones. Elizabeth invited Henry, Natalie and I to come join the festivities. It was a lot of fun. Thanks Elizabeth!

Yeah, I'm with Julie on my question. Why not add a bit more to your overburdened schedule! Just kidding, I know quite a few home schoolers and boy are the kids smart! Carrie homeshcools Troy and Colin and will add Jessica to the mix now too. My good friend's daughter homeschools her 4 kids and will add the 5th in August!!! OMG! I couldn't imagine. The weather is finally hot and the lake is heating up. The only guests so far ar my sis July 10th - 16th. Come on over any time! Deb
